I love the blog Chance! Harley was such a fun dog and was so cute the last time we came down. He showed Garen his toys and had fun trying get a peek at Wyatt. He was such a good dog with the kids.
I think my favorite memory of Harley was when he pooped on your pillow after you left him to go have fun on vacation. He didn't leave you guessing on how he felt about that!

A FAITHFUL DOG BY:ANONYMOUS

A Faithful Dog Will Play With You

And Laugh With You -Or Cry-

He'll Gladly Starve To Stay With You

Nor Ever Reason Why,

And When You're Feeling Out Of Sorts

Somehow He'll Understand

He'll Watch You With His Shining Eyes

And Try To Lick Your Hand.

His Blind, Implicit Faith In You

Is Matched By His Great Love -

The Kind That All Of Us Should Have

In The Master, Up Above.

When Everything Is Said And Done

I Guess This Isn't Odd

For When You Spell "Dog" Backwards

You Get The Name Of God.

Harley was the first dog friend my dog Bono (a 9 pound pomeranian)had and thanks to Harley he still thinks that he can play with any big dog out there (in fact it took him a while to learn how to play with dogs his size and he was usually too rough with them). Harley was my first experience living with an indoor dog and he really helped prepare me for my own dog. I remember one morning (this was when we were living in the small house and Harley was still pretty young) I got up in the morning to take a shower. When I was walking back into my bedroom I stepped into a big pile of fresh, steamy dog poop. Sometime between getting in the shower and getting out Harley decided to say good morning in his own special way. We'll all miss him!
